3 players injured in the tie vs Notts Country
Liverpool 4-2 victory over Notts Country after extra time comes at a heavy cost as 3 players was injured in the match. With Manchester United visiting Anfield on sunday, Liverpool might be without key defender Kolo Toure who had helped Liverpool to two sucessive clean sheet in the league.

四分五裂
it had been real tough start to the semester on many counts and one of the main reason is the relationship among people in my university clique. can feel that my uni clique now is quite seperated. hopefully as the semester continue, things will start to get better.

Help out for WSC Youth Interview Session
yesterday evening, i assisted my youth portfolio in interviewing interested freshies/senior who wish to join wsc youth. it was a good experience. hopefully my blk will get more volunteers for our sessions. i always feel getting through interview is one thing but committing is another story. esp in university level, there is alot of academic stress on top of committment from hall, other job committment for example tution. lets hope my blk will get good set of volunteers for this academic year!!

I don't know how to survive CBC429
This is the second week of the semester and i am struggling to come to term to the academic load for the semester. Today CBC 429 lab had to be one of the most horror lab i have in my whole life. Sitting in the air con com lab in front of computer trying to draw molecule from a lame software nearly killed me. but i cannot drop this module. have to Lan Lan finish the next 12 weeks.

People don't Watsapp to talk to themselves
The purpose of Watsapp is to replace text message and use data instead of SMS. But Watsapp create a problem as you can see your friend last online time and whether your friend that you are talking to have read your watsapp. this potentially create a problem that sometimes you feel that you are watsapp to yourself when your friends had not replied you after he is online many hours ago and read your message many hours ago. imagine you are watsapp your friend and wanted to chat with him, u see him online but that person never replied ur watsapp then few hours later again u see him online, again never reply you. then the watsapp conversation is like chatting to yourself right?

Start of EPL season. My Prediction for Matchday 1
First game of the season is between Liverpool and Stock. As a Liverpool fan, i hope Liverpool will start off the season with a positive note. A big win is on the card i think. Liverpool should be able to clear the -1.5 handicap. Let see how Mark Hughes managed stoke in the upcoming season.
Liverpool 4 Stoke 0 (Prediction)
Arsenal kick off the season at home against Aston Villa. Arsenal lack of transfer activity in the summer transfer market is worrying. But they should have no problem winning at home against a average Aston Villa side. Will Benteke suffer from second season syndrome?
Arsenal 3 Aston Villa 0
Norwich kick off the season at home Everton. Norwich had made a lot of signing in the transfer market. Let see how they start the season. Roberto Martinez will manage Everton for the first time in the league. and i am not convinced that buying ex-wigan players will make Everton stronger. A season of struggle for both sides probably.
Norwich 2 Everton 1
Sunderland start the season at the Stadium of Light hosting Fulham. Sunderland had made a lot of signing in the summer transfer market and i hope Sunderland will do better this season. They did not scored enough goal last season. But i am not sure of managerial credentials of Di Canio. hopefully he will clash less with his players. Fulham had made a couple of good signing Maarteen Stekelenburg and loan signing of Darren Bent. With new owners, Fulham might surprise this season. Stekelenburg will be keep busy by Fulham leaking defence. Sunderland to start the season with a win
Sunderland 3 Fulham 1
Last season, West Brom had a great start to the season winning Liverpool 3-0 on Steve Clark first EPL game in charge. This season WBA start the season against Southampton. WBA playing at home give them an edge on this game. but never underestimate Southampton. Think a draw is on the card.
WBA 1 Southampton 1
West Ham united had a strong home record last season and they start the season at home against newly promoted Cardiff City. I think a home win is a banker. West Ham should have no problem winning comfortably tonight. I think Downing move to West Ham might give him a chance to make it in the England Squad. Downing might be one of the scorer tonight.
West Ham 4 Cardiff City 0
Defending Champion Manchester United travel to Wales for the opening game to take on Swansea City. Swansea City was the surprise team of the last season winning the League Cup and a Europa League spot this season. Manchester United had not made the big signing their fans crave but they had won their first trophy under new manager David Moyes. I do hope Swansea make a good start to the season. No defending champions had lost the opening game of the season. so i do hope Manchester United will be the first.
Swansea City 1 Manchester United 0
Newly promoted Crystal Palace will host Tottenham Hotspur on the opening day of the season. Selhurst Park had not witness top flight football for a long time. I do not rate Palace highly and Tottenham without Bale is not the same. Might be a draw.
Crystal Palace 1 Tottenham 1
Chelsea start the season against newly promoted hull city. Jose Mourinho second spell in charge of Chelsea. How will he set Chelsea to play? Will he start Lukaku or Torres? many questions on my mind now regarding Chelsea. But no questions in predicting that Chelsea will get a home win and keep a clean sheet. Steve Bruce had alot of experience in handling EPL club. Will he come good at Hull??
Chelsea 5 Hull City 0
Last game of the opening day of the season see Manchester City playing against Newcastle United. New manager Manuel Pellegrini will hope to see his competitive reign in Manchester City start off with a win after an indifferent pre-season. Newcastle United had not been making alot of signings in the off-season. they might struggle.
Manchester City 3 Newcastle United 0
Ker Chuan Hao ,Elvin EPL Prediciton Week 1
Liverpool 4 Stoke 0
Arsenal 3 Aston Villa 0
Norwich 2 Everton 1
Sunderland 3 Fulham 1
WBA 1 Southampton 1
West Ham 4 Cardiff City 0
Swansea City 1 Manchester United 0
Crystal Palace 1 Tottenham 1
Chelsea 5 Hull City 0

Why my timetable so packed?
For the first week of the new semester. I realized that my timetable is so much more packed than my friends. maybe due to the fact that i da-bao too many modules before. They are coming back to haunt me in year 4. i haven't really started my CBC493 yet. Very headache now despite this being the first week.

From Good Friend to normal friend
A trip to Korea was what keep me going last semester. After going Korea, I really wondered if it was the right decision to go in the first place. I have a good friend named A, we went korea together. Then there was a lot of disagreement/quarrel during the time in Korea. Now back in Singapore, it seems that good friend now become distant friend which make me very sad. This is a friendship i really treasured, i am really sad these few days. Luckily got a few of my clique friend accompanied me these few days. very thankful. but now must work something out.

Meet up with Kok Yiang for lunch today
it was great to meet up with kok yiang today for a catch up and lunch. really happy to see a poly friend after a couple of years. all my poly friends really hold special place in my heart. i am in contact with some of them through watsapp but meeting face to face is really hard to organize as we each have our own committment, i really hope to meet up with more poly friends in the future. remember in year 2 of my cbc cse, i play street soccer with some of my poly friends bing hui, wee hong, lionel and gerard but due to some factors ie my troublesome knee, i stopped going to the soccer sessions which i regretted much.

Safra 10 km run on 1 September 2013
As the next race that i signed up for the SAFRA 10km run is less than 1 month away. I feel ill prepared for the run. Signed up the run before my knee injury act up, my knee feeling better liao. Now in a dilemma whether to train up for the run or let my knee heal more. I think i will be running the 10km on 1 september and hopefully i will complete it. i am not targetting to finish the run within specific time as i don't want to pressurize myself to push my knee to the limit. but i know that i won't be even close to matching the 1 hr 2 sec timing i clocked in 2010 10km Safra run 3 yrs ago.

Liverpool Should let Suarez Leave
I always feel that there is no point in keeping unhappy players therefore i urge Liverpool to cash in on Suarez. Liverpool had stand by him so much but the way Suarez repay Liverpool faith was to force a move away from Anfield. Hopefully Liverpool will sort out the saga fast and cash in and get replacement before the transfer window closes on 31 August.
